Kiefer on the ending of “24″
"This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible, but when all is said and done, it is the loyal worldwide fan base that made it possible for me to have the experience of playing the role of Jack Bauer, and for that I am eternally grateful."

One day, long, long ago…….

there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or bitch.

But this was a long time ago…….

and it was just that one day.

The End

Just wanted to let everyone know my partner in crime is laid up at home with a sling – she had surgery but she is doing OK! Everyone please say a quick prayer that she makes a speedy recovery and that she is back in Kiefer-land soon!!

I get a lot of videos about police dogs…. considering the job i’m in! *laughs*

I watched this one with a new sense of how it would feel to be a celebrity and have to deal with all the wacko’s. Pretty sure Kiefer is well protected! You can watch the video below of some great police dogs, www.IsraelDogs.com :)

Michael Shanks talks “24″

Audience member: I’m also a huge 24 fan, so it was awesome to see you on that. My question is, did you get to spend any time at all with Kiefer Sutherland, cos you really didn’t have anything to do with him on the show, but…

Michael: Didn’t even see him. Didn’t work the same day. Wasn’t there. He was… I think because… that’s the 6th season of their show. I think Kiefer’s done what most actors who are Executive Producers do once the show’s a success – they find waaays to not to be there that much! (laughter) Find ways… when there’s a 14 day schedule, or 16 day schedule, they find ways to only work 3 of them. And they weren’t the days I was working.

Audience member: So, would Jack Bauer or Daniel Jackson win in a fight, then?

Michael: Who would win in that fight?

A few people yell out “Jack”.

Michael: Depends on which show. (laughter) Cos, ah, Jack Bauer may kick a lot of ass, but he’s never seen the business end of a zat gun.

A lot of laughter, screams and applause.

Michael: And even though Jack’s good at it, Daniel’s been tortured as much as anybody on the show… I think he might have a little edge there.

Audience member yells out “and he can’t be killed” while another says “he can’t die”.

Michael: Well, no, he can die. But that still doesn’t stop him.

An audience member says “he just doesn’t stay that way”.
